Dr. Neha Miglani
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Neha Miglani on to our team as a partner. Neha brings her multidisciplinary background, research and professional experience to bear on the most challenging issues in education and development. With over 15 years of experience, she has worked on a range of projects related to education policy, programs and practice within and outside formal institutions.
She holds a PhD in Education from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles.
Her research includes investigations of educational well-being, social-emotional learning (SEL), educational technologies (EdTech), holistic reforms, child-centered education, early literacy and reading, assessment of student learning, and gender and education. She has sourced, managed, and/or worked on several grants from research and multilateral development agencies, and governments, including the UNICEF, DFID (now, Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office), Social Science Research Council, Spencer Foundation, and governments in India, Bhutan and the United States.
Neha has extensive experience in policy and program reviews, planning and strategy, project and people management, conducting training, organizing conferences, and dissemination of research findings to various stakeholders. She is a regular presenter at international educational conferences and has published for prestigious academic journals, policymakers, and public facing blogs. Through her career she has used qualitative, participatory and mixed methods of educational research, and worked on data analytics in prior professional work. She has also taught courses on advanced research methods, educational policy and equity, and international development and education, among others.
Neha champions the inclusion of teachers’ and youths’ voice in educational policy.
